KEEPER’S APARTMENT

The recently remodeled one bedroom, one bath Keeper’s Apartment is a cozy and beautifully decorated cottage perfect for a romantic getaway for two. It includes a gas fireplace in the living room, fully stocked kitchen, dining room, satellite television, CD/DVD player, free Wi-Fi, back patio with bistro table and chairs and incredible views of the California coast from every room. This cottage homes features a memory foam queen mattress in the bedroom. Keeper’s Apartment is not pet friendly.

All of our rentals include access to the Light Station Store and Indoor Museum, housed in the historic 1896 Fog Signal Building and containing the original 1st Order Fresnel lens from the 1908 Tower, anytime between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily (4:30 p.m. Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day). Tours of the Lighthouse Tower can be arranged by checking with the Light Station Store Associate at the store counter. Tower Tours are conducted about every 20 minutes with the first Tour aroound 10:15 a.m. and the last around 3 p.m. Enjoy full access to our 23 acres of grounds and Outdoor Museum during your stay. You will also find a welcome gift of a bottle of Husch Vineyards wine and chocolates from Mendocino Chocolate Company waiting for you in the dining room of your Assistant Keeper’s home.

Keeper’s Apartment Rates

$250/night Sun-Thurs, $275 Fri & Sat*

*Rates do not include taxes, cleaning charges or pet charges. For all units there is a 2 night minimum stay. For all units there is a 3 night minimum stay on Presidents Day, 4th of July, Memorial and Labor Day weekends and between December 24 – 31, and 4 night minimum stay for Thanksgiving weekend (Thursday through Sunday). Higher rates may apply during holiday periods. Point Arena Lighthouse Keepers members receive a 10%-25% discount on lodging (Holidays excluded, cannot be combined with other Specials/Discounts unless otherwise noted).

Hours:

Light Station Store, Indoor Museum and Outdoor Museum are open daily 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. the rest of the year.

The Lighthouse Tower is once again open to the public for tours! Tower Tours are available daily and will be conducted approximately every 20 minutes, with the first Tour starting around 10:15 a.m. The last Tour will be presented around 3 p.m. Masks are REQUIRED for all guests while in the Tower.

Closed Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Day. The Light Station closes early on Christmas Eve so that our staff can be home with their families. Christmas Eve hours are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
