HEAD KEEPER’S HOUSE
The recently remodeled two bedroom, one bath Head Keeper’s House is a mid-century modern masterpiece. It includes a wood burning fireplace (firewood provided) in the living room, fully stocked kitchen, dining room, satellite television, CD/DVD player, free Wi-Fi, back patio with picnic table and incredible views of the California coast from every room. These homes feature two queen beds. Head Keeper’s House is pet friendly for up to 2 pets.
All of our rentals include access to the Light Station Store and Indoor Museum, housed in the historic 1896 Fog Signal Building and containing the original 1st Order Fresnel lens from the 1908 Tower, anytime between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily (4:30 p.m. Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day). Tours of the Lighthouse Tower can be arranged by checking with the Light Station Store Associate at the store counter. Tower Tours are conducted about every 20 minutes with the first Tour around 10:15 a.m. and the last around 3 p.m. Enjoy full access to our 23 acres of grounds and Outdoor Museum during your stay. You will also find a welcome gift of a bottle of Husch Vineyards wine and chocolates from Mendocino Chocolate Company waiting for you in the dining room of your Assistant Keeper’s home.

Head Keeper’s House Rates
$295/night Sun-Thurs, $325 Fri & Sat*
*Rates do not include taxes, cleaning charges or pet charges. For all units there is a 2 night minimum stay. For all units there is a 3 night minimum stay on Presidents Day, 4th of July, Memorial and Labor Day weekends and between December 24 – 31, and 4 night minimum stay for Thanksgiving weekend (Thursday through Sunday). Higher rates may apply during holiday periods. Point Arena Lighthouse Keepers members receive a 10%-25% discount on lodging (Holidays excluded, cannot be combined with other Specials/Discounts unless otherwise noted).
