Point Arena Lighthouse Keepers, Inc. (PALKI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the historic Point Arena Light Station and keeping it open to the public.  PALKI thanks coastal friends, residents, and visitors for their support. We ask those who are members to renew their membership yearly. If you are not familiar with PALKI this is what your membership has to offer:

    • A Voice . . . In the direction and goals. Members elect the Board of Directors, and are eligible to run for the Board.
    • Newsletters . . . Two each year, to keep members up-to-date on our projects and activities (Newsletter delivered via email).
    • Personal Satisfaction . . . In the knowledge that memberships and contributions provide for the daily presentation and preservation of this historic site.
    • Free Admission . . . Current members are admitted to the Lighthouse and Museum free, with additional admissions depending on membership level.
    • 10% – 25% Discount . . . On lodging at the Point Arena Lighthouse vacation rental homes (holidays excluded)* depending on membership level.
    • 10% Discount . . . On Point Arena Lighthouse Gift Store purchases.
    • Tax Deductible . . . All memberships and donations are tax deductible.
$50 Individual Membership allows up to two admissions, notification of exciting special events and a 10% discount on vacation house rentals and Gift Store purchases*. (Your entire membership is tax-deductible)
$75 Family Membership includes all the benefits of an Individual Member, allows up to four admissions. (Your entire membership is tax-deductible)
$200 Business Membership (for up to 10 employees). Includes all the benefits of an Individual Member, allows up to 10 admissions per visit for your employees and their family members. (Your entire membership is tax-deductible). Please contact us for businesses with over 10 employees.
$500 Individual Lifetime Membership includes all the benefits of an annual Individual Member for life, plus a 25% discount on vacation house rentals and 10% on Gift Store purchases*. You will receive a one-year subscription (4 issues) to “The Keeper’s Log” magazine by US Lighthouse Society (renewal optional). In addition, your name will be engraved on a brass plaque and permanently displayed in the Lighthouse Tower. ($460 of your membership is tax-deductible)
$650 Family Lifetime Membership includes all the benefits of an annual Family Member for life, plus a 25% discount on vacation house rentals and 10% on Gift Store purchases*. You will receive a one-year subscription (4 issues) to “The Keeper’s Log” magazine by US Lighthouse Society (renewal optional). In addition, your name will be engraved on a brass plaque and permanently displayed in the Lighthouse Tower. ($610 of your membership is tax-deductible)
$150 In Memoriam:

A gift In Memoriam will ensure a permanent place in the Buttress Room at the base of the Lighthouse Tower for the remembered, whose name will be engraved on a brass plaque and prominently exhibited on the Memorials displays, which are beautiful slabs of old growth redwood.

NOTE: IN “ADD INSTRUCTIONS TO THE SELLER” section of your order form, please list THE NAME exactly as it is to be engraved on plaque.

* Lodging discount does not apply on Holiday weekends, Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks or in conjunction with the Seasonal Special. Gift Store discount does not apply to consignment or sale items.  Family Memberships (annual or lifetime) may rent multiple units under the member’s name and receive the discount on all of them.

Becoming a Lifetime Member of the Point Arena Lighthouse Keepers, Inc. (PALKI)  is a special way to show your support of the Light Station.  Lifetime members receive these special benefits:

If you have been a continual Annual Member, consider changing that to a Lifetime Membership when your renewal comes up.  If you are not a PALKI member yet consider making this significant contribution and commitment to the Lighthouse.  Your membership will help us maintain in perpetuity the historic Point Arena Light Station – including the 23 coastal acres it encompasses, its 115 ft.
